Research

The Urology Team Research Department is a full service research site with 3 locations in the Austin area. We conduct clinical trials with expertise in conjunction with providing the highest quality care to all research patients in a pleasant atmosphere with qualified, helpful, caring, and knowledgeable staff. We deliver the highest quality data to sponsors in an effort to bring new drugs to the market to improve worldwide health.

The Urology Team Research Department has completed many clinical trials through the past 8 years. Our team of Investigators and Research Staff possess a wealth of experience in conducted clinical trial studies in Phases II through IV.

Staff

Our Medical Research Director, Eric Giesler, M.D., as well as Elizabeth Houser, M.D., Melody Denson, M.D., and Richard Chopp, M.D.; are experienced research investigators and are actively participating in research as Principal Investigators and Sub-Investigators on our clinical trials. Enrolling Clinical Trials

The Urology Team consistently has ongoing clinical trials. We are always looking for interested volunteers that are willing to participate in our clinical trial studies. Each trial has specific criteria for participation. Please review our posted clinical trial study flyers to see if you may be a candidate for one of our currently enrolling clinical trials.

• BPH or enlarged prostate
• Prostate cancer
• Bone Loss (Prostate Cancer Clinical Trial)
• Nocturia Clinical Research Study

Health insurance is not necessary to participate in a clinical trial, and most studies include compensation (stipend) as reimbursement for time and travel for study participation. Volunteers receive study-related medical care at no cost to them.
